EXHIBITION #4 // LONDON, 2011
The museum's most ambitious enterprise yet. Time Out
Back in 2011, The Museum of Everything presented Exhibition #4 at Selfridges, the first global survey of studios for self-taught artists with developmental disabilities. This radical project featured 500 glorious works right across the store, from our installations in the shiny windows along Oxford Street to The Shop of Everything in the ever-glam Wonder Room.
With 100,000 visitors over 10 weeks, Exhibition #4 was the most successful art show in the history of the museum and store and included the first UK retrospective of Judith Scott, the tip-top self-taught artist whose story was revealed on BBC2's The Culture Show (click here to watch it now).

EXHIBITION #5 // RUSSIA, 2012
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Last summer The Museum of Everything trekked across Russia searching for artists for Exhibition #5, the country's first and largest survey of contemporary, self-taught, non-traditional art.
Our journey started in Yekaterinberg and continued to Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, St Petersburg and Gorky Park in Moscow, where our quest for untrained, undiscovered and unintentional artists continued.
In every city we visited, we met artists and curated a local show featuring their artworks. To see Exhibition #5 in action on the road, check out one of the movies below or visit our blog here.
Exhibition #5 opened 26th April 2013 at Garage Center for Contemporary Culture in Gorky Park, Moscow, and features many of our discoveries, plus an outstanding group of historic self-taught Russian artists.

In 2012 The Museum of Everything arrived in Paris with Exhibition #1.1, an epic journey of more than 500 self-taught artworks and objects, curated within the winding corridors and silent classrooms of a 1,000m2 former Catholic seminary smack dab in the middle of St Germain.
After welcoming 350,000 visitors to its critically-acclaimed installations in London, Turin and Moscow, The Museum of Everything opened its mighty Parisian doors on 15th October 2012 and stayed open through Xmas + New Year until March 2013.
Exhibition #1.1 was presented by Chalet Society, the radical new art space helmed by Marc-Olivier Wahler, former director and chief curator of Palais de Tokyo. For more information, visit click here.

Speaking of awards, The Museum of Everything is nominated for not one, not two, not seven, but four International Design Communication Awards.
Sure, it's not an Oscar, it's not even a Tony, but what the heck ... despite the plethora of heavy hitters across the planet, The Museum of Everything has crow-barred its way onto the shortlist for Best Branding, Best Logo, Best Exhibition Communication and Best Retail Design.
The museum's mother, Mildred, is suitably chuffed and buying a new pair of smalls so she can attend the June ceremony with her Persian lover, Julio.
